Description

Euro-Top Hygienic cable glands (sizes M16 to M25) have been especially designed for hygiene, food processing, chemical, beverage and pharmaceutical environments where cable gland surfaces must be free of dust deposits and production residues. In order to achieve a completely flat surface for the Euro-Top Hygienic, all active the components are placed into the interior of the body of the cable gland. The gland washers are TPE, a material authorised for the food industry under FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. Additionally, due to the very compact and well thought-out design, protection classes IP68 and IP69K are met without problem. These characteristics mean that the component can be cleaned quickly and inexpensively with high-pressure cleaners.

 

Electromagnetic shielded versions (EMC/EMV) are available in all hygienic sizes.
