SIBTEC  – Ex Polyamide NPT cable glands for non-armoured cables



  • Manufactured from Polyamide 6.6
  • NPT sizes
  • Standard colours black for Ex e and all blue for Ex i applications
  • Suitable for non-armoured cables
  • Ex Certification: Ex II 2 GD, Ex e II and Ex tD A21
  • Also suitable for industrial and underwater applications
  • Protection class options: IP66 (dust tight and water proof to jets of water) or IP68 (underwater tested)
  • Temperature rating -35ºC to +95ºC
  • Gland accessories including, fibre and sealing washers and lock nuts.
  • Dimensions: from NPT 3/8” to 1”

SIB-TEC glands are approved to IP66 and IP68 as standard for normal industrial use and permanent submersion respectively. SIB-TEC glands have been designed specifically for Ex e and Ex i applications (ECDEP compatible). Temperature range: -35ºC to +95ºC. Sizes range from NPT 3/8” to 1”, which is sufficient scope to meet most cable entry applications. Locknuts which incorporate a collar to avoid surface damage during installation are available at additional cost.
